Team Meerkat is a group of like-minded individuals from around the globe, we love comics, sci-fi, gardening, gaming and a host of other activities, just like everyone else.
One thing we all agree on though is we hate to see kids sick. That's why this year the Team is again participating in the 24 hour gaming event Extra Life.
We don't just do this event for fun, every dollar raised in sponsorship goes to Children's Hospitals and Research projects in your LOCAL area.

I have a family tie with Cancer, my mum fought valiant skirmishes for a number of years with the beast, but eventually lost the war. While adults having Cancer sucks, children deserve the extra effort to make sure they can have a life to enjoy. Ending Cancer’s inevitability is on my quest list.
